Natalie Washburn serves as President of Community Concepts Finance Corporation, a Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) in Maine. In this role, Natalie is dedicated to expanding access to capital for small business owners, especially those in low-income and underserved communities. She collaborates with organizations such as the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), FAME, USDA, and traditional banks to deliver flexible, non-traditional lending solutions tailored to individual business needs. Natalie leads a mission-driven team that not only supports small businesses but also advances the financial well-being of individuals and families through credit, budgeting, and homeownership education and coaching. Her professional experience encompasses community economic development, mortgage lending, small business underwriting, and compliance training, having trained hundreds in state and federal programs and supported the launch and growth of businesses of all sizes. She is also involved in organizational development and vocational rehabilitation partnerships.
