Investment & Asset Manager

About Libby

Libby Haraden is the Investment & Asset Manager at CEI Capital Management, LLC (CCML), a subsidiary of Coastal Enterprises, Inc. (CEI), a Maine-based community development financial institution with a mission to build just, vibrant and climate-resilient futures for people and communities in Maine and rural regions by integrating finance, business expertise and policy solutions in ways that make the economy work more equitably. CCML specializes in investing in rural projects nationwide that create quality jobs and foster career opportunities, particularly in manufacturing.

As CCML’s Investment & Asset Manager, Libby underwrites and manages a portfolio of investments in the New Market Tax Credit (NMTC) and Maine New Market Capital Investment (MNCI) programs. This involves evaluating, underwriting, and closing complex mission focused transactions, ensuing long-term project viability, and managing asset issues during all phases- closing, compliance period, and unwind stages. Prior to her current role at CCML, Libby held the roles of Compliance Assistant and Asset & Relationship Manager.

Prior to CCML, Libby worked as a portfolio manager at a local bank, where she worked with a variety of Maine businesses. Libby also spent several years as a stay-at-home mom, looking after her two boys. Libby enjoys spending time outside and is an avid reader.
