Raynor Large

Director of Business Advising

About Raynor

Raynor Large is the Director of Business Advising at Coastal Enterprises, Inc. (CEI), a Maine-based community development financial institution with a mission to build just, vibrant and climate-resilient futures for people and communities in Maine and rural regions by integrating finance, business expertise and policy solutions in ways that make the economy work more equitably.

As part of the Business Advising team at CEI, Raynor works closely with existing and aspiring entrepreneurs to help move their business or idea forward with no-cost and confidential advising. He regularly discusses finances and capital access, licensing and permitting, marketing, human resources, and the myriad of other issues that small businesses face.

Prior to joining CEI in 2021, Raynor worked with business owners doing turnaround, Fractional CFO, and ownership transition work, developing a strong understanding of financial management. He’s a proud father of two and, while he lacks the coordination necessary to do real sports, still enjoys running, biking, and hiking in Maine’s wonderful outdoors.

Education:

  • Gettysburg College, B.A. in Psychology
