About Miriam
Ms. Shark works as strategic consultant and confidential advisor to rural and urban foundations, nonprofits, networks and initiatives in her home state of Maine and nationally. She draws on more than twenty-six years of diverse roles and progressive responsibilities at the Annie E. Casey Foundation as well as experience as a policymaker, nonprofit manager and direct service provider. Miriam currently serves on the boards of Coastal Enterprises, Inc., CEI Ventures Inc. and Health Care Without Harm. She holds a B.A. from Washington University in St. Louis, an M.S. and Ph.D. in clinical child psychology from St. Louis University and an M.P.A. from Harvard University.
