About Blake
Blake is the Chief New Markets Officer of MetaFund, an impact investment firm, where he works to finance projects that create quality jobs, affordable housing, community health, and child well-being using the federal New Markets Tax Credits program. Blake proudly grew up in Beaver, Oklahoma, the Cow Chip Throwing Capital of the World, before attending the University of Oklahoma where he majored in Finance and Entrepreneurship and was active with the Center for the Creation of Economic Wealth.
Prior to joining MetaFund, he was a derivatives trade management analyst at Goldman Sachs in the firm’s asset management division.
Blake, his wife Lisa, and their two kids now live in Guthrie, Oklahoma, where they are perpetually restoring a historic home. They spend as much time as possible hiking, biking, kayaking, camping, and exploring the great outdoors.
