About Benjamin

Ben Krameris the Treasurer at Coastal Enterprises, Inc. (CEI), a Maine-based community development financial institution with a mission to build just, vibrant and climate-resilient futures for people and communities in Maine and rural regions by integrating finance, business expertise and policy solutions in ways that make the economy work more equitably.

As CEI’s Treasurer, Ben is responsible for developing and managing strategies, operations, and policies related to the treasury function, including cash management, asset liability management, organization of funding sources, and investor reporting.

Ben has spent his career working in the financial services industry and in the Southern Maine community.  He started working with the mutual fund administrator Atlantic Fund Services, and later Apex Group, and also spent time supporting the marketing team at TD Bank and the capital investment team at Hannaford’s corporate parent Ahold-Delhaize.  If you get him talking, you will shortly hear how excited he gets about the rich storytelling that can happen by looking at numbers if you open yourself up to hearing the tales they want to tell you.

Education:

  • University of Southern Maine, Master of Business Administration
  • University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Bachelor of Science in English Education
