Ann McAlhany provides one-on-one business counseling at the Small Business Development Center at CEI in Augusta for existing and start-up businesses. She works in all areas of business planning and financial management, including those considering purchasing an existing business or seeking financing. She is also the office resource for technology clients and entrepreneurs applying for MTI or SBIR grants. She has extra training around exporting. Ann has worked in different areas of the food service and restaurant field and has prior experience with inventory management, warehousing and distribution. She has owned her own business, so she knows firsthand what it’s like to be an entrepreneur. Ann has a B.A. in German from Furman University, an M.S. in logistics from Maine Maritime Academy, and an M.A.T in German from the University of Maine.
