The panel discussion will begin at 9:15am. There will be a Q & A session following the panel and we will wrap up by 11:00am. The event is free, registration required.
The panel:
Diane Sturgeon, Maine Small Business Administration, will speak about the different SBA loans available to small business owners, including the 504 Loan for real estate and equipment purchases.
Lorri Brown, Women’s Business Center, will speak about the free business advising services and other local resources available to small business owners, including assistance with business plan development, cash flow, marketing and loan packages.
Sam Height, Main Street Skowhegan, will speak about the new technical assistance grant program offered to small businesses in Skowhegan.
Molly Woodward, New Dimensions Federal Credit Union, will speak about the loan process for small business owners and what criteria financial institutions look for when considering a small business loan.
Brian Whitney, Maine Technology Institute, will discuss the MTI VIRAL assessment and how small businesses can levy the MTI grant funds available for expansion and growth.
