We will use the framework of the Business Model Canvas to walk through nine major areas of consideration if you’re thinking about starting a business: from who your customers will be and how you’ll make money, to who you need to collaborate with to make your business work.
The Business Model Canvas is a great tool for those who are nervous about a conventional business plan, or who like to process and learn visually.
We’ll keep the class small and interactive, and you’ll have your own Business Model Canvas to fill out as we progress. You’ll walk away with a framework for evaluating your current business idea, and future ones as well.
We’ll also discuss various local, state and federal resources that every small business owner should be aware of.
