DESCRIPTION:Business planning can feel at odds with your passion and desire for creating works of art. But it doesn’t have to! \nIn fact\, it can support and sustain it. \nIn this 1-hour Zoom session\, we’ll approach business planning through a creative and intuitive lens to design a viable and sustainable business plan. \nWhether you are just getting started or an experienced maker\, this workshop is for you. \nTogether\, we’ll explore how your craft appeals to customer needs and wants while also supporting your own livelihood. \nTopics will include: \n\nBig-picture financials\nUnderstanding your customer and market\nAligning passion with purpose\n\nYou’ll work with a one-page business plan template specifically designed for artists and makers\, and we’ll introduce additional resources available to help you think through the business side of your craft. \nThis session can be a first step to a more detailed plan. \nWhether you have a business plan you’d like to refresh or need to start from scratch\, come prepared to think\, imagine and articulate your business intention with the support of other participants. \nOptional: Bring a sample of your creative work that is meaningful to you to inspire your planning process. \n\nWho Should Attend? \n\nThis program is designed for Maine-based makers\, crafters\, and creative entrepreneurs at any stage of their business journey. \n\nREGISTER TODAY!!\n  \n \nFunded in part through a Cooperative Agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration. \nAll opinions\, conclusions\, and/or recommendations expressed herein are those of the author(s) and do not necessarily reflect the views of the SBA.
