Linnea Patterson
Program Developer, Climate Justice and Environmental Resilience
About Linnea
Linnea Patterson is the Program Developer in Climate Justice and Environmental Resilience at Coastal Enterprises, Inc. (CEI), a Maine-based community development financial institution with a mission to build just, vibrant and climate-resilient futures for people and communities in Maine and rural regions by integrating finance, business expertise and policy solutions in ways that make the economy work more equitably.
As CEI’s Program Developer, Linnea is focused on programming related to climate justice and environmental resilience to ensure that, as our economy decarbonizes, under-resourced communities and businesses benefit from this transition. She provides sector expertise to green business deals, advises on state policy testimony, and manages climate-related projects, such as CEI’s low-interest solar loan pilot and CDFI environmental scorecard cohort.
Prior to CEI, Linnea worked for Fidelity Investments on the Product team of an Agency Lending trading desk in Fidelity’s Capital Markets division. She is also a former three-time CEI intern (a company record?) and has worked on multiple projects related to food system development, capital access, and business advising in the context of climate change. She is deeply interested in the relationships that people have with their land, their businesses, and the environment, and is fortunate to work at a place that lets her explore how to balance them.
Education:
