About Emily
Emily Robichaux is Director of Climate Partnership Lending at Amalgamated Bank, where she finances clean energy infrastructure and specializes in partnering with community lenders on climate finance. She rejoined the bank from Opportunity Finance Network (OFN), where she served as Senior Vice President for Climate and Environmental Programs. In this role, she established the organization’s climate program and was a lead author of OFN’s award-winning GGRF Clean Communities Investment Accelerator program application, securing $2.3 billion for community-oriented clean energy projects. Prior to her work at OFN, Emily was First Vice President for Sustainability at Amalgamated Bank, providing financing to sustainable projects and companies that advanced the bank toward its net zero targets. She previously served as CFO of Groundswell, a non-profit solar developer, where she launched the subscriber services business line and financed community solar projects. Emily earned an MBA in Sustainability from Bard College, receiving the Lovins Award for her academic achievements, and holds dual bachelor’s degrees from Smith College. She is the Board Treasurer for Interstate Renewable Energy Council (IREC) and is on the Investment Committee for the Energy Independence Fund, a clean energy loan fund managed by Enterprise Community Loan Fund. A native of Louisiana, she now lives in Washington, DC.
