Integrating Public and Private Services and Programs PDF Print E-mail

CEI's experience in developing strategic alliances & relationships and facilitating key partnerships for over a quarter of a century positions CEI as a leader among workforce intermediaries in the State of Maine.

It is through these partnerships that we have mobilized private and public resources to support innovative projects that provide training and employment opportunities for people with low incomes or are at risk of poverty. These strategic initiatives are always designed with a vision of developing workforce strategies that fully integrate CEI's economic development philosophies, while at the same time complementing and augmenting the resources and activities of the workforce organizations and institutions in Maine.

This integraion is accomplished by leveraging our resources with public and private funding, partners, and service providers to meet both business and worker needs.

An example of this leverage is the welfare to work programs that we have completed over the years.  For a list of the programs click here.
