Linking Low to Moderate-Income People to Jobs |

One of our primary strategies in bringing jobs to low and moderate-income workers in Maine is to balance their employment
and training needs with the demands of business for
motivated, skilled workers. We do this through our Employment & Training Agreement
(ETAG), which requires businesses that we finance to employ these alternatve labor forces.
One part of this process is gathering job openings from the businesses
that we work with, then distributing these listings to career
centers and job placement agencies throughout the state.
