Maine Affordable Housing Network

CEI is the sponsor of the Maine Affordable Housing Network (MAHN). The network provides a statewide forum for discussion, planning and action on affordable housing and related issues. The network is made up of approximately 130 individuals, organizations and agencies who work together for the creation and preservation of safe, accessible and affordable homes for the people of Maine.

MAHN is a membership organization.  In order to have a greater impact on public policy decisions affecting affordable housing and related issues, the goal of the Network is to make its membership diverse and inclusive, with broad geographic and professional representation. Therefore, membership is open to any individual or organization dedicated to the mission of the Network.

By providing forums for discussion and legislative advocacy, assistance, education and resource development, MAHN strives to provide an inclusive, statewide forum for discussion, planning and action around affordable housing and related issues.

The Maine Affordable Housing Network publishes a monthly newsletter, Network News, that keeps people informed of what is happening at the state and national level.  The newsletter provides dates and locations of workshops and conferences around the state and, further away, identifying funding sources and listing the latest publications and studies done on affordable housing.
