Workshop prices are per person. If you are registering as a couple, you MUST enter a guest registration to receive the discounted per person price.

CEI LogoThe First-Time Homebuyer Seminar is a two day Homeownership Education Course, held on Saturday, November 5 & 12.

The purpose of the Homeownership Education Course is to help people prepare for and be well informed about the process of buying a home. Seminar topics include: evaluating your credit; what price home you can afford; budgeting and money management; selecting and working with a real estate agent; home inspections; types of available mortgages, including Maine Housing, VA, Rural Development; as well as the closing process and post-closing considerations.

Participants must complete both sessions and will receive a Certificate of Completion. The non-refundable cost of the four-session seminar is $30/person, $50/couple.

*Please note: Deadline for registrations is November 1st. Space is limited, so prepayment is required to reserve your seat.
