Workshop prices are per person. If you are registering as a couple, you MUST enter a guest registration to receive the discounted per person price.

CEI LogoThe First-Time Homebuyer Seminar is a two day Homeownership Education Course, held on Saturday, August 21st and 28th.

The purpose of the Homeownership Education Course is to help people prepare for and be well informed about the process of buying a home. Seminar topics include: evaluating your credit; what price home you can afford; budgeting and money management; selecting and working with a real estate agent; home inspections; types of available mortgages, including Maine Housing, VA, Rural Development; as well as the closing process and post-closing considerations.

Participants must complete both sessions and will receive a Certificate of Completion. The non-refundable cost of the four-session seminar is $30/person, $50/couple.

*Please note: Deadline for registrations is August 13th. Space is limited, so prepayment is required to reserve your seat.
